Carthage rustic leather collar was handmade combining denim and tangerine leather. It was padded with violet leather, but ruby red, forest green and beige leather are available as well.

Ornaments wise Carthage rustic leather collar is among the richest we designed. The idea was to create the collar that conveys grandeur and splendor of large and giant dog breeds. By choosing the name Carthage we wanted to accentuate the superior quality of our craftsmanship too. Workshop Sauri started by creating especially strong and beautiful leather collars for world’s most powerful dog breeds and to achieve that goal traditional crafting techniques and modern design elements had to be brought together.

The collar was completely hand stitched. It is highly durable and will serve a long time of day-to-day use. All ornaments are securely fixed. Leather edges were hand skived, polished and painted for more elegant look and suppler feel around the neck. The collar in the pictures is with the dog name plate.

Carthage rustic leather collar can be made in two sizes: L (21-26”) and XL (26-32”).
Collar width:  7-8 cm (2 ¾-3″) back side of the neck and 4-5 cm (1 ½-2″) under the chin

Sauri leather dog collars are compact – firm but not stiff. To avoid riveting on the collar’s inner side (and possible irritation of dog’s skin and fur) we hand stitch the buckle part.

For regular care you should wipe off the collar from mud and similar dirt using a dry cloth or a soft brush. You can also wipe the collar’s inner side using mildly wet cloth followed by the dry one.
