KARNAK sight hound leather collar – the regal collar – is inspired by the ancient Egypt and the famous Egyptian temple Karnak in particular. We handcrafted the collar by hand stitching three leather layers:

Rustic black foreground leather
Underlying red leather with geometrical embossing
Nubuck background leather

Besides an obviously powerful contrast between black and red leather, there are two other elements that will keep you looking longer at this beautiful sight hound leather collar. Hand antiqued red leather embossing makes you think of Egyptian sandstone temples. Central vintage brass ornament shaped as Pharaohs’ headdress crown adds to the overall regal impression of the collar.

KARNAK sight hound leather collar is designed to fit long, slender, well muscled necks and fits all greyhounds, Lurcher, Saluki, Azawakh etc. Various other dog breeds can easily wear it too – neck widths 13 to 17 in.

You should measure your dog before ordering.

Sauri leather dog collars are compact – firm but not stiff. Leather edges were hand skived, polished and painted for more elegant look and suppler feel around the neck. To avoid riveting on collar’s inner side we hand stitch the buckle part. This traditional leather crafting skill makes Sauri dog collars especially well suited for dogs with fine hair and/or sensitive skin.

KARNAK sight hound leather collar is a unique leather product. It means that we can only design a similar one once the one shown in the shop is out of stock.

For regular care you should wipe off the collar from mud and similar dirt using a dry cloth or a soft brush. Collar’s black foreground leather can be treated with a neutral leather conditioner. Nubuck leather on the collar’s inner side should be brushed off if it gets excessively dirty.
