SHEILA big dog collar with vintage nameplate is a seemingly simple yet very elegant dog collar. It was inspired by Madam Sheila, a gorgeous Neapolitan mastiff female. Madam Sheila was a leader of her pack of more than 15 dogs: Neapolitan mastiffs, English mastiffs, Irish wolfhounds, English bulldogs, Russian toy terriers and Chihuahuas. The collar consists of:

Cognac foreground leather
Grey underlying leather with art deco hand print
Vintage dog name plate
Tree of Life and brass filigree
Nubuck background leather

For this collar we chose art deco hand print and few embossing. We embellished the collar with Tree of Life brass plated conchos and brass filigree. SHEILA big dog collar with vintage nameplate has one central nameplate. It is a brass octagonal plate with a flower frame that adds to the overall elegance.

SHEILA big dog collar with vintage nameplate has been designed to fit big dogs both short- and long haired, Mastiffs, Molossers and various other dog breeds having neck widths 21 to 26 in.

Sauri leather dog collars are compact – firm but not stiff. Leather edges were hand skived, polished and painted for more elegant look and suppler feel around the neck. To avoid riveting on collar’s inner side we hand stitch the buckle part. This traditional leather crafting skill makes Sauri dog collars especially well suited for dogs with fine hair and/or sensitive skin.

For regular care you should wipe off the collar from mud and similar dirt using a semi wet cloth or a soft brush. Collar’s foreground leather can be treated with a leather protectant spray.
